An entry...

This is my first time entering one of the Iheartfaces contests - there's no prize, it's just for fun - but each week, I love perusing the entries and reading the commentary by the judges.    Anyhow, the theme is black and white, and when I heard that - I immediately thought of this photo of Parker. I already posted it a few posts back, but the conversion method I used on this just turned out *exactly* how I'd envisioned.  Which very rarely happens, lol.   I also love Parker's expression.... it's not typical 'newborn' (at least, in my opinion).  I think she looks a little surprised, and I love the messy hair, and the reflection she casts into the chair.

Sunday Speaks

Every Sunday morning, during worship, one particular part of one of the songs always seems to "stick" with me for the day...  I have this grand idea that I'm going to start sharing whatever that little nugget is.  And pretend like you care.  Ha!

How Cobra is about to change

I'll sum it up for you.  Instead of paying $1400+ a month for COBRA, we should only have to pay $490 a month, beginning 3/1/09.  

Do you have any idea how that changes my life right now?  ANY IDEA?????

Honestly, I never would have imagined such immediate relief from something a politician did.  

What's ironic is that I spent the last night in Mexico awake, all night long, sick and having panic episodes.  If I'd heard this, I bet I would've slept like a baby.

Speaking of baby, pics of her and all her yummy cuteness to come tomorrow.

Could this sweet little 5 week old baby BE any more good natured?  Snuggling with her was the best. 

The Sattler Boys

Going into this session I was excited, thinking they'd be so much easier than toddlers.....

Ha!

It was SO MUCH FUN, though.  They are cuh-ray-zee!

Brenda & Jerry have their hands full!  And I think I might have traumatized them by taking them to Deep Ellum. They were cracking me up!  I love them, though.  I've watched them grow up over the years into fantastic, but silly, young men.
