I did it and I don't regret it.

I succumbed to the pressure, and am now a "big bow Mommy." It's been said that 'the size of the bow should be relative to the amount of hair the baby has.'.. but really, I'm going with 'the size of the bow should be proportionate to the size of the baby's noggin'. And that, friends, allows us to get a big ol' bow.

We went shopping today, in our big bow-edness, with Aunt Ashley. So fun!

In this one, she's holding her own bottle... when did she learn that? She gets, at most, one pumped bottle a week. Maybe she's sneaking out of her crib in the middle of the night and making herself a snack.

Babies, BabyDaddy's and BFF's

The Duckworth's had a playdate with the Stovall's last night... Miranda tried to snap a fun picture of the little ones and their Daddy's... but we couldn't get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. Charlotte was mostly interested in the television, and Prestley was mostly interested in getting down and playing.

It's been so fun watching the two of them grow, and we can't wait to see if they are perfect angels like their Mommy's. *wink, wink* BFF'ism is genetic, right? And don't you LOVE Prestley's little pigtails? So sweet.

Laugh if you must.

But this mommy is SO going to buy tickets to NKOTB.

I never got to go when I was in love with them the first time around (I was what, 10? 11?), and now I can go see them, sing along, dance in my seat, and DRINK A BEER?

I'm there.

Another sweet site!

Babysteals is similar to Woot (if you're familiar with Woot), where they offer one product at a time, at unbelievable prices - only Babysteals is all baby stuff. Check it out!

I feel like an infomercial these days....

Mommy-Needs-Out-Field-Trip, and a fun-site-shout-out!

I'm kind of lost right now at www.rookiemoms.com - tons of fun info there (check it out!).

Right now they're having a Mother's Day giveaway, and to enter - I'm supposed to post about my favorite mommy/baby-outing, thus far. I started thinking about it and realized - wow. I don't have a lot to chose from. I definitely need to get out more. But I have to pick a favorite, so here you go.... Sam's Wholesale Club. That's sad, right? But really - it was great! Charlotte was mesmerized by the obnoxious fluorescent lights, there were samples everywhere for me to snack on, cookbooks for me to peruse, gigantic bags of tasty citrus fruits, and a lifetime supply of boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I avoided the wine section because... well... we're usually pretty stocked up on that.

I wish I had a more interesting destination - but we're still relatively early in the mommy-game. Next year I'll have something better, I promise.

Now go check out Rookie Moms! But if you enter, and win, and I don't.... well. I won't invite you to go to Sam's with me. You'll miss out on all the fun.

You can read more about the blog blast contest here: blog.parentbloggers.com.

Short people can have fun, too!

Renee brought over Pierce's exersaucer (now that he's mobile, he's "over" it) - Charlotte LOVES it! It's the first time she's intentionally played with something, more than just smack and grab...

Her short legs needed some help, though.

Thanks, Pierce!

(Oh, and at the end - don't mind the commercial in the background that says something about a medications side effects. Oops.)
