Until Daddy goes back to work.
He'll have been home with us for 5 months and 3 days.
During that time, my sweet little baby has grown into a rambunctious toddler with delicate emotions - and a tendancy for dramatic, unpredictable mood swings.
During this time I also doubled my work committment from 10 hours per week, to 20.
No problem with that extra set of hands around.... but come Monday?
It will be fine - I'm going to get up earlier and have to be diligent about making a plan for each day, ahead of time... but I think I've been spoiled!
I do, however, think that my house will be cleaner. Jason doesn't think so - we'll see who's right.
I have a possible super-fun-happy-place for Charlotte to go play with friends for a few hours twice a week, I'm really praying that comes through. I think some "Mommy" time would be good for my sanity. I have visions of baby free grocery shopping dancing in my head.
But Hallelujiah! Jason will be back to work! We have so many friends still looking, many who have been in the market for longer than he was. Daunting and frustrating...
Oh! I should add that he actually got TWO job offers, in the same week. He went for the one that although offered less money, had more long term potential. It was a good feeling for him to be in that position, though.
I think I abuse the ellipsis.
Must go... dishwasher needs unloading. Coffee needs drinking. Plan for Monday needs drafting.
