Fun With Captions!

Tippy toes...

Awesome.  Mom's not looking, I'm just going to climb on up here and...

*sigh*  laying this patio is hard work.

I need some yoga time. Downward facing dog...

You interrupted my yoga.  Now I must eat you, for I am a goblin.

Hey, Dad...  where did you say I had to move this box to, before you'd feed me again?

Oh! I hear them!  The British - they're coming!

Mom, you're really starting to piss me off with this camera crap.

Mom!  I don't wanna wear this!  I look like a baby!
You're the meanest mom EVER!

The end.

She doesn't even know what a turkey is.

Trepidatious Thursday

.... Or something like that.

This isn't a very scary climb of hers (except that she's over the tile), but I thought it was cute.

She's really not very much of a baby anymore.  :(

They take a bazillion shots...

And this is the best one?!?!

My aunt, who lives near Chicago, stumbled across this inside a JCP store.

It makes me laugh because A) that bow is too little for her big head, B) the outfit is kind of ugly, and C) during one of these jobs is pretty much the only time I can GUARANTEE she won't crack a smile.

She looks like she could eat the baby behind her.  Or like maybe she just ate the baby beside her.

Portrait of a Toddler

Oh, look at me!  So cute and happy!

Mamamamamamamama!

*translation: Mother, why did you blink at me wrong?

Oh Em Gee - why are you the meanest mom in the world?

This is the worst day in my whole entire life!

This is the worst day in ANYONE'S whole entire life!

I can't go on like this!  I can't bear this abuse one.more.second!

You don't love meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Oooh!  Did someone say applesauce?

Rinse & Repeat.

T-Minus 3 days and counting...

Until Daddy goes back to work.

He'll have been home with us for 5 months and 3 days.

During that time, my sweet little baby has grown into a rambunctious toddler with delicate emotions - and a tendancy for dramatic, unpredictable mood swings.

During this time I also doubled my work committment from 10 hours per week, to 20.

No problem with that extra set of hands around....  but come Monday?

It will be fine - I'm going to get up earlier and have to be diligent about making a plan for each day, ahead of time...  but I think I've been spoiled!

I do, however, think that my house will be cleaner.  Jason doesn't think so - we'll see who's right.

I have a possible super-fun-happy-place for Charlotte to go play with friends for a few hours twice a week, I'm really praying that comes through.  I think some "Mommy" time would be good for my sanity.   I have visions of baby free grocery shopping dancing in my head.

But Hallelujiah!  Jason will be back to work!  We have so many friends still looking, many who have been in the market for longer than he was.  Daunting and frustrating...

Oh!  I should add that he actually got TWO job offers, in the same week.    He went for the one that although offered less money, had more long term potential.  It was a good feeling for him to be in that position, though.

I think I abuse the ellipsis.

Must go... dishwasher needs unloading.  Coffee needs drinking.  Plan for Monday needs drafting.

Sweet Maternity shots...

I was initially discouraged when I arrived to do these....  the beautiful green grass that I had visions of using was a big muddy bog.  Mud everywhere.  So we were limited to what we could do on and around the benches, but it was still fun!  Terri might possibly be one of the most picture-perfect pregnant women I've ever seen - and Aoife's blue eyes are magical.

She also told me that the flowers were stinky, lol.
