Hi. I'm a drunken chipmunk.

In a trashcan somewhere, are my wisdom teeth.

I wonder if I'll lose any weight over the next couple of days.  I wonder how much the teeth themselves actuallyh weighted.

I wonder when I'll be able to feel my face again.

I wonder when I 'll be able to drink and actually feel my face enough so that Jason doesn't put one of Charlotte's bibs on me.

Did you know when i woke up, there was one of those plastic "cause' bracelets on my wrist that says "got wisdom?"  when I fell asleep the nurses were talking about how her dog at half of a ten dollar bill and they were debating if she should watch her poop.   Then they asked me "so where is your baby right now?"  and I had no clue.

Although it loosk like I'm in pain in this picture, this was actually when Jason said "smile".

This post brought to you by percocet and whatever magic juice they put in my IV.

*eek* I can't turn back now....

Most of you know that I finally sucked it up and launched my website this weekend.  I'd been sitting on it for a month, letting the crazy voices in my head talk me out of it - just about every day.

My discomfort comes from that thought that by putting myself "out there" like that, people would assume that I thought I was the best...  or that I knew it all....

If *real* professionals look at my site, will they totally pick apart my work?

Because I'm not the worlds best.  I certainly DON'T know it all.  I learn something new at each and every session I do.   Which is part of why I did want to put it out there.  More business means more opportunity to learn.

I talked it through with my friends and they encouraged me to just do it.  They might've just been sick of hearing me waffle back and forth on it, but regardless - I did it.  I hit "publish."

And now - it's started.  I just booked my first session, with someone I'd never met/heard of, through the "Contact Allison" form on my site.

I can't decide if I'm more freaked out or excited.

I think excited, though.

Yeah.  Excited.

I'll probably set up a photo blog to link up with my site,  so that I can use this one strictly to ramble on about the adventures of raising a toddler...   (I read an article this weekend that referred to toddlers as "emo-bombs", walking emotional rollercoasters.  "EmoBombs".  LOVE IT.).

Anyway, yeah.

Randomness.

It was very quiet in the house....

Just a few minutes later.  She REALLY loves her books.

At the arboretum...

She's my favorite.  Everyday.  Even the bad ones.

Welcome Anna Victoria!

Here's the birth I did last week....  such a sweet, sweet, perfect baby - who is ADORED by her older brothers. It's a good thing I got the shots the first time, because Mom had her out in ONE push! Congratulations Amy, David, Alex & Hudson!!!

Wordless-close-enough-to-Wednesday

***we all know I add words to my WW.  For dinner, I made her baked french toast and eggs.  And she smeared maple syrup all in her hair.  I figured, as long as it's sticking straight up - I may as well make it fun!  The outfit is from Tea.  And too big b/c my baby is too little, but still oh so sweet, soft, lovely and made conscientiously.

Meet sweet, perfect, tiny, precious Liam!

Gabi & Eric invited me to help document the birth of their son, Liam - and what an amazing family they are!  They're doing such a FANTASTIC job with their little man, and he is absolutely, positively, perfect.  I swear he's the same size as Charlotte's newborn cabbage patch doll - and he's GORGEOUS!  Watch this video and tell me you don't agree.  But then - look at Gabi.  How could she NOT grow a pretty baby?  And can I add - doing this rocks my socks.   And makes me cry happy tears.  God is good.
